FotoFacial RF (Photorejuvenation).
What is FotoFacial RF™ and Photorejuvenation?
Photorejuvenation is the use of light energy to help improve and rejuvenate the skin’s appearance. FotoFacial RF™ is a unique treatment system that combines the use of light energy along with radio frequency energy, allowing for the best results possible with fewer risks involved. FotoFacial RF™ is a gentle non-invasive procedure that helps to improve many skin types and conditions with no downtime.
What type of results will I see?
Patients will notice a consistent gradual improvement of the tone and texture in the area being treated. The skin will continue to improve with each treatment (about 5 in the package) done over the course of 15-18 weeks. The following conditions that are improved with FotoFacial RF™ include:
• Rosacea, flushing, redness, ruddy complexion and broken capillaries can improve up to 50-75%
• Sun spots, age spots, hyperpigmentation, melasma, multiple freckles can improve up to 50-75%
• Chronic sun-damage and photoaging can improve up to 50-75%
• Sun damage and aging signs of the hands, neck, and chest skin can improve up to 50-75%
• Wrinkles and skin laxity can be improved up to 70%
What is involved in the therapy?
The FotoFacial RF™ treatments are simple in office treatments with virtually no downtime. The area being treated is covered with a thin application of cooling gel and then treated with a gentle pulse of light and radiofrequency energy. Each treatment takes between 30-60 minutes. To enhance overall penetration micro-dermabrasion is commonly performed in between FotoFacial RF™ treatments. Complementary consultations and test spots are available by appointment with our esthetician for anyone interested in this procedure.
How long do the results of a FotoFacial RF™ last?
At the completion of the recommended program the skin will have achieved a noticeable and consistent degree of improvement. Most patients will desire to maintain the skin enhancements they have achieved from the program and a single FotoFacial treatment is recommended every 3-4 months
